Explain CMR spectrum

2,2-Dimethyl-1-propanamine (neopentylamine, (CH3)3CCH2NH2) has a maximum of three resonances in its CMR spectrum.  2-Methyl-2-butanamine, CH3CH2C(CH3)2NH2, should have four resonances in its CMR spectrum.
