Q. Explain about working of Multiplexer?

Multiplexer is one of the fundamental building units of a computer system that in principle permits sharing of a common line by more than one input lines. It associates many input lines to a single output line. At a specific instance one of the input lines is selected and selected input is passed on to output line. The figure 4×1 multiplexer (MUX) is given in figure.
