Explain about the transmission electron microscope.

The Transmission Electron Microscope

Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) is a microscopy method; a beam of electrons is transmitted by an ultra thin specimen. An image is made through the electrons transmitted by the specimen, magnified and focused through an objective lens and appears onto an imaging screen, this may be either fluorescent screen, or onto a layer of photographic film, or to be detected through a CCD camera.
