Explain about the term ultrasonics shortly.
The world ultrasonics applies to sound waves which vibrate at a frequency higher than the frequency which can be heard through the human ear or higher than around 20,000 hz. Sound is transmitted by one place to other by means of waves. The quality of any wave can be defined by identifying two associated properties: its frequency (f) or wavelength (lambda, λ). The unit utilized to measure the frequency of any wave is hertz. One hertz is described as the passage of a single wave per second.
A rectangular surface (0.14 m x 0.39 m) is oriented in a uniform electric field of 440 N/C. What is the maximum possible electric flux through the surface?
Displacement related with a wave is given by y (x, t) = 0.1 cos(0.2x-2t). Where x y are in cm and ‘t' in second. Determine the wavelength, amplitude, frequency and velocity.
