Explain about the term pumping in laser, Physics

Assignment Help:

Explain about the term pumping in laser.

Pumping in laser is particular criteria to get laser output. It is same to pumping well water to the ground level or to an overhead tank against gravity along with a water pump.

Here the work is completed to increase the potential energy of the water against gravity. It finds its applications within opthalmology, cosmetic medicine, dentistry, manufacturing, laser range finders and fluid dynamics and more.
