Explain about the Switches
LAN switches are an expansion of the method in LAN bridging, which controls data flow, handles transmission errors, gives physical addressing, and manages access to the physical medium. A switch gives these functions by using various link-layer protocols. LAN switches can link four, six, ten or more networks together. A store-and-forward switch, on the other hand, accepts and examines the entire packet before forwarding it to its destination.
Consider a simple wireless data link using channel bandwidth of 40 kHz. The transmit power level is 20 dBm, the link attenuation is 40 dB and the SNRdB at the receiver is 20 dB.
