speed =300 r.p.r.;

stroke = 450 mm; 

net break load = 1.5KN;

i.m.e.p. = 6 bar;

break rope diameter =2 cm.

break drum diameter = 1.8 meter;

Evaluate :

(i) Indicated power (ii) Mechanical efficiency (iii) Brake power.

(b) Discuss briefly the basic performance parameters.
