EQUIPMENT FOR RESISTANCE WELDING
The equipment for resistance welding is different from that for arc welding for the following reasons: Resistance welding machines are complicated and very costly. Automation and controls are more in these. Many resistance welding equipments are custom - built. The machines can be operated with single phase or three phase mains. The equipment may be direct energy or stored energy machines. All the resistance welding machines require a low voltage, high current output (current in the order of thousand to lakhs of amperes). Four main constituents are:1. Electrical Power source2. Mechanical system3. Control equipment4. Feeding system

Evaluate the motion of the system: If in above Example, the block A is resting on an inclined plane at 45 o to horizontal as illustrative in Figure, find out the motion of th
Creating 3-d solid models Two basic approaches to create solid models are : (i) Constructive solid geometry (CSG or c-rep), and (ii) Boundary representation (b-rep).
A truss is shown in the given figure. Compute the horizontal deflection of joint D formed by both the load and fabrication error (bar AE is 30mm too long). For
