Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment
Electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) is a practically latest technique that allows consumers to view and pay bills electronically. There are a considerable number of bills that Consumers pay on a standard basis, which contain: water, oil, power bills, internet, phone service, car payments mortgages etc. EBPP systems send bills from service providers to individual consumers by means of the internet. The systems furthermore allow payments to be finished by consumers, known that the amount that appears on the e-bill is accurate. Banks in Canada have been present these online payment services for a moment now, and are increasing in popularity. Additional service providers for instance Rogers Communications and Aliant understand major credit cards within the bill payment sections of their websites. This service is in addition to the unusual EBPP method of a direct extraction from a bank account via a bank such as Scotiabank.
