Q. Why does the urinary volume increase when alcoholic beverages are ingested?

Alcohol inhibits the ADH (antidiuretic hormone) secretion by the hypophysis and Low ADH reduces the tubular resorption of water in the kidneys and thus the urinary volume increases.
