Re-Check the fundamental model.
Re-check and refine the DFD for the software.
Determine the DFD has either the transform or transaction mapping.
Identify transaction center and the flow properties along with each of the action paths.
Factor and refine the transaction structure and the structure of each action path.
Refine the first iteration structural design using design heuristics for improved software quality.
