Determine the width of attached gingiva at implant site, Biology

Assignment Help:

Width of Attached Gingiva at Implant Site

The zone of attached gingiva needs to be intact and of adequate width to protect (by separating) the tissue around the implant. If it is not sufficient, improper (too hard) brushing or a muscle attachment that is not in a proper position can pull on the attached gingival tissue. Furthermore  a minimum width of attached gingiva becomes necessary  if the patient is not able to maintain a proper oral hygiene
