Homer's syndrome occurs because of ipsilateral interruption of the sympathetic outflow to the head and neck. It can result from lesions anywhere along the sympathetic pathway. The characteristics of Homer's syndrome are miosis, ptosis, enophthalmos, anhidrosis, and hetero-chrome iridis.
