Determine the Goal of a BCC Programme

The overall goal of BCC programs for diabetes mellitus is to promote behaviors that control blood sugar and prevent complications.

These include:

- Following treatment as prescribed by the doctor.

- Regular blood and urine test.

- Regular follow up with the doctor and if any complication arises.

- Modifying life style and accept changes in life.

- Support from the family and friends.

- Increase demand for services for diabetic patient.
