Determine the compression force exerted on the can for an applied force of P46 N applied at D at the angle P47 to the vertical as shown.  There are two links for AB and two linkages for AOD, one on each side of the crusher.  Pin B is on the centre line of the can and there is a small square frictionless peg at E moving vertically in a recessed slot in the fixed frame. 

The compression force exerted on the can rounded up to the nearest Newton, is,
