Determine about the prestressed concrete

In prestressed concrete the most important parameter is the prestressing force. Ifthe prestressing force reduces with time, prestresses also get reduced.

Even at the time of the transfer of prestress to the concrete member, there is adrop of the prestressing force from the recorded value in the jack gauge. Variousreductions of the prestressing force are termed as the losses in prestress.
