Determine about the Physico-chemical parameters

The possible combination of various elements found in the earth's crust gives rise to a large number of minerals. Out of all the elements present, oxygen and silicon are the most abundant and compose 75% of it.  That's also the reason of great abundance of silicate minerals in the crust.  The solid phase of soil is broadly composed of inorganic and organic constituents. The inorganic constituents consist of silicates, both of primary and secondary origin, having a definite chemical composition and well defined crystalline structure.
