Design requirements for aircraft access, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Q. Design requirements for Aircraft Access?

For some remote locations, provision may be required for occasional landing of aircraft during emergencies or executive visits. These may include both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. If required, airstrips or helipads are to be located away from process areas. Consideration needs to be given to local environmental effects and to whether refueling facilities need to be provided. Refer to national Aviation regulations for further details on design requirements.
