Describe the Introduction to Integers ?

Integers include the positive and negative whole numbers, such as -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on.

A negative number has a "-" negative sign to the left of it. For positive numbers, the "+" positive sign is optional .

The Number Line: A number line puts numbers in order. Numbers get smaller as you go left along the line. Numbers get bigger as you go to the right.

Zero is the origin of the number line.
