1. In your opinion what is meant by the following quote "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Explain the debate between the opposing viewpoints in several complete sentences.

Jane Doe was arrested for a DUI; Jane signed a confession and was sentenced to 1 year probation.Jane's family later hired a defense attorney that appealed the case because she was not read her rights to have an attorney present. Will her sentence be overturned? Explain your opinion using the bill of rights.

4. James Doe was caught standing over a dead body with a bloody knife in his hand. The district attorney offers him a plea deal of 20 years and threatens to keep him in jail for 5 years before taking him to trial if he doesn't take the plea deal. Will this threat hold up over legal challenges?
