Finance has three key career paths: financial markets and institutions, financial management and investments.

They forecast and analyze a firm's finances; evaluate investment opportunities, assess risk, decide when and where to find money sources and how much money to raise and decide how much money to return to the firm's investors.
2. Stockbrokers, Bankers, and others who work in financial markets and institutions focus on the flow of money through financial institutions and the markets in which financial assets are exchanged. They observe the impact of interest rates on the flow of that money.
3. People who work in the era of investments select, locate, and manage income-producing assets. For illustration, mutual fund managers and security analysts both operate in the investment field.
