Q. Describe about Carbon Steel?

Steel having no specified minimum quantity for any alloying element (other than commonly accepted amounts of manganese, silicon, and copper) and containing only an incidental amount of any element other than carbon, silicon, copper, sulphur, and phosphorous. Steel, containing traces of vanadium or columbium, added to increase the strength, shall be considered carbon steel.
