Define the functional flexibility workforce.

Functional flexibility (task flexibility or multi-skilled employees) associates breaking down traditional occupational restrictions. For illustration manufacturing workers may be needed to take on other indirect tasks as like quality control, cleaning of the work region, preservation, or learn various production processes. It enables staff to be utilized more flexibly and shifted around in order to save cost for examples, staff can cover for absenteeism. Frequently this is achieved by secondments, job rotation and training.
