Time domain: Time domain is a term which is used to define the analysis of mathematical functions or physical signals, with respect to time. In the time domain, signal or function's value is known for all real numbers, for the case of continuous time or at different separate instants in the case of discrete time. An oscilloscope is a tool normally used to visualise real-world signals in the time domain.
