Assignment Help:

Define Terminal symbols?

Terminal symbols: These are literal strings forming the input of a formal grammar and can't be broken down in slighter units without losing literal meaning of these. In easy words, terminal symbols can't be changed by using the rules of the grammar; which is, they're the ending of the line or terminal. For illustration, if the grammar rules are that x can turn into xa and x can become ax, so a is a terminal symbol since this cannot become something else. These are the symbols that can shows as it is in the program.
