Define Laterite stone.

Laterite is called sedimentary rock. It has porous and spongy structure and can be simply quarried in blocks. It have high percentage of oxide of ion and available in dissimilar colours . Its compressive strength varies from 1.8 to 3.10 N/mm2. It is used as building stone, road metal etc
