Role of fat in cancer is debatable. High fat intake is indicated as a risk factor to cancer of breast, colon etc. Saturated fat intake has been implicated more in cancer events. Abused oil intake (re-used oil) and oils with high peroxidative potential producing free radicals in body also promote carcinogenesis.
