Define Briefly the Enzymatic Proteins?
The most varied and very highly specialized proteins are those along with catalytic activity - the enzymes. Virtually all the chemical reactions of organic biomolecules in cells, you might be aware, are catalyzed by enzymes. More than 2,000 enzymes are identified. Special class of enzymes fulfils a mechanochemical role, for instance actin, myosin and related proteins of muscle structure are accountable for the conversion of chemical energy into mechanical work.
