Q. Create simple algebraic expression from K-Map?

Now create simple algebraic expression from K-Map. These expressions are created by employing adjacency if we have 2 adjacent 1's then expression for those can be simplified together because they differ only in 1 variable. In the same way we search for adjacent pairs of 4, 8 and so on. A 1 can appear in more than one adjacent pairs. We must search for octets first then quadrets and then for doublets. The subsequent example will clarify step 3.

Example: Now, let us see how to use K map simplification for finding the Boolean function for the cases whose truth table is given in figure 3.8(a) and 3.8(B) shows the K-Map for this.
