Conversion of decimal number 25.5 into binary numberAns. There is integer part is 25 and fractional part is 0.5. Firstly convert the integer part 25 in its equal to binary number that is, divide 25 with2 till the quotient becomes 0 shown in table.
Therefore, integer part decimal number 25 is equivalent to the binary number 11001. After that convert fractional part 0.5 in binary form that is, multiply the fractional part 0.5 with 2 till you find remainder as 0.
So the decimal fractional part 0.5 is equal to binary number 0.1. Thus, the decimal number 25.5 is equivalent to the binary number 11001.1.
