I have some plastic tube .5 OD .44 ID .5 long
I put them in a vise end to end (sealing the inside of the tube)
THen using a torque wench crush them to see when they fail. I get readings like 289 Ft LBS and lows of 150 Ft LBS
The thread on the vise is a 1" OD with 7 pitch thread
From this information can you tell the actual compressive strength of the tubes
