In the summer of 1774, you are a brand new junior associate in the Philadelphia law firm of Ducque, Dodge, and Hyde and one of the senior partners, James Ramsey, Esquire, has purchased this pamphlet. A known moderate Tory, Ramsey is concerned about the thesis of the piece and its possible effects for his law business as well as the British North American colonies. Senior partner Ramsey assigns you the task of drafting a memo reviewing and analyzing the growing dispute between the British and the colonists. In order to impress the boss and keep your job, analyze the key ideas and events between 1764 and the summer of 1774.
