Calculate the number of electrons and protons in isotope, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

There are 13 electrons in an element whose nucleus comprise 14 neutrons. Obtain atomic number and atomic weight of this element. If atomic weight of the isotope of above element is more by 2, calculate the number of electrons and protons in this isotope.

Ans: Atomic number = 13

Atomic weight = 27

Number of electrons and protons will remain same i.e. 13 according to property of an Isotope.
