6. According to Zinn, by the end of World War I, "The courts and the jails had been used to reinforce the idea that certain ideas, certain kinds of resistance, could not be tolerated." In a well constructed essay, explain this statement by detailing the kinds of ideas and resistance movements that emerged during the war and how the government responded.
