A database is a collection of data organized in a manner that facilitates updation, retrieval and management of the data. Searching an unindexed database having n keys will have a worst case running time of O (n). If the similar data is indexed along with a b-tree, then the similar search operation will run in O(log n) time. Indexing great amounts of data can improve search performance significantly.
explain two strategies to implement state charts with the help of an example of each.
1. develop an algorithm which reads two decimal numbers x and y and determines and prints out wether x>y or y>x. the input values, x and y, are whole number > or equal to 0, which
Almost Complete Binary Tree :-A binary tree of depth d is an almost whole binary tree if: 1.Any node and at level less than d-1 has two children. 2. for any node and in the tree wi
1. Show the effect of each of the following operations on queue q. Assume that y (type Character) contains the character ‘&’. What are the final values of x and success (type boole

Various graph traversal schemes Graph Traversal Scheme. In many problems we wish to investigate all the vertices in a graph in some systematic order. In graph we often do no
What is binary search? Binary search is most useful when list is sorted. In binary search, element present in middle of the list is determined. If key (the number to search)
