Antibody Mediated Immune System (AMIS)
In antibody-mediated immunity, the antibodies dissolved in blood, lymph and other body fluids bi nd the antigen and trigger a response to it. AMIS, therefore, involves the production of antibody molecules in response to an antigen and is mediated by R-lymphocytes. This form of immunity is also called humoral immunity as you may recall reading above.
