Analytical Methods for Pollutants Regulated Under the Clean Water Act?

We suppose that you have knowledge of and access to the relevant analytical methods. These methods cover a wide range of analytical technologies and pollutants. The method explanations range from a few pages for simple tests to detailed and lengthy documents covering hundreds of analytes. Numerous of these procedures and accompanying documents are available on various CD-ROM products or at the Office of Science and Technology (OST). Processes from other organizations are often available from those organizations for a fee.

Our goal is to address a wide range of analytical problems and sample types. As a result, a few level of detail was sacrificed and some situations haven't been addressed in this document. Though the approaches to resolve matrix interferences that are described in this document perhaps applied to issues not specifically addressed in this publication. States and EPA have laboratories with experts to reply some questions about analytical problems.
