You will be presented with a detailed “problem” related to the history of psychology. Your task for this assignment is to: (a) generate a specific thesis statement that articulates your tentative resolution of the “problem”; (b) gather evidence from primary source documents about the “problem”; and (c) describe how the evidence you’ve gathered supports (or refutes) your thesis. Does the evidence lead to confirmation or rejection of your thesis? During the first few weeks of the course, you will complete in---class and out---of---class exercises that will help you hone skills that facilitate your abilities to find, evaluate, and interpret historical evidence. You will also learn through this project what it means to adoptequipoise in scholarly writing. Should be 10-12 pages long
