You must use coal as your fuel and must investigate energy conversion efficiencies for the boiler. You must also research turbine efficiencies and provide documentation regarding turbines of this size. You must also determine mass flow rates, find suitable pumps and provide pump curves and efficiencies. You goal is to design the plant to have the highest thermal efficiency. You must also calculate an annual profit for the plant based on the average going rate of electricity.
