Assignment -

Write the Method and Results sections for these two psychology studies. Need to test hypotheses for both of them and then write a formal APA style statistical report on whether or not he hypotheses were supported.

Attached what have so far as well as the two data sets. The hypotheses that need to be tested on SPSS are highlighted

Also need the outputs of the tests as well as the written reports.

STUDY 1 -

People will think that others are likely to fall prey to the Lake Wobegon effect nearly all of the time.

People will think that they will almost never fall prey to the Lake Wobegon effect.

Most people will rate themselves better than average on the likelihood of falling prey to the Lake Wobegon effect.

People will think that they are less likely to fall prey to the Lake Wobegon effect than others.

STUDY 2 -

Lab students will rate their general knowledge as better than other Claremont College students.

Quizmasters' general knowledge will be rated higher in lecture than in lab.

Participants will rate quizmasters higher than they will rate contestants on scores of general knowledge.

Contestants will rate the quizmasters as more knowledgeable than quizmasters will rate themselves.

Quizmasters will rate the contestants as being more knowledgeable than themselves.

Contestants will rate their general knowledge as much worse than average.
