An antenna array on the z-axis consists of 4 short (λ/20) dipoles, each spaced a quarter wavelength apart on the z-axis.
Given: d1=2, d2=4, d3=5, and d4=3
Current Magnitude: The first element is located at the origin and the magnitude of the current on each element is: Element 1: i1=d1 (at z=0), Element 2: i2=d2 (at z = quarter wavelength), Element 3: i3=d3 (at z=half wavelength), Element 4: i4=d4 (at z=three quarters wavelength)
Current Phase: Element 1: phase=20*d1 degrees, Element 2: phase=20*d2 degrees, Element 3: phase=20*d3 degrees, Element 4: phase=20*d4 degrees
Current Orientation: d1and d2 are oriented in the +z-direction and d3 and d4 are oriented in the +x-direction.
Use MATLAB to write a program that accurately does the following:
1) Plots the normalized power pattern at θ=90 degrees for 0<φ<360 degrees. (polar plot, not in dB)
2) Plots the normalized power pattern at φ=0 degrees for 0<θ<180 degrees. (polar plot, not in dB)
