It is now 1923, and you are working for Thomas Edison in his New Jersey research laboratory. The surface temperature of his 50.0 W incandescent lightbulb is 60.0°C.

But the surface temperature of a Westinghouse 50.0 W incandescent lightbulb is 50.0°C.

Tom asks you to determine the steady state irreversibility rate of each lightbulb when the local environmental temperature is 20.0°C and comment on why the Westinghouse bulb is more efficient.
