Milestone - Expected Results
Given that this is a research proposal, you do not actually have data to analyze.
Instead, in this section you will write about the descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and/or correlations you would report if you actually had that data. You will also make a formal statement regarding your research hypothesis.
This section should be two paragraphs in length. In your first paragraph, discuss the descriptive statistics of your study sample.
How would you describe your sample using descriptive statistics, such as the mean, median, and mode? How can you describe your sample in terms of measures of variability, including the range and standard deviation?
How would you describe other variables of interest in your study? In your second paragraph, using Figure 8.3 in Chapter 8 of the Salkind (2017) textbook, report on the decision tree and then indicate the inferential statistic you would use to test your hypothesis. Then, restate your research hypothesis. (Again, redundancy is a good thing in a research proposal).
