750 word essay based on one of the following

Submit the final draft of your Someone You Love essay in .docx or .rtf format, doublespaced, and with proper heading format. Choose one of the topics below, or suggest another topic to me that you find more interesting. Your essay should be about three pages (750 words) long.

1 Write a word-portrait of a person you love or have loved. Describe this person, both in terms of physical appearance and personality. Narrate how this person came into your life, and describe your relationship, giving specific examples of how this person has changed your life. What have you learned from this relationship, and how can you apply this knowledge in your life now and in the future?

2 Describe a person you have seen in a way that other people haven't. This might not be a person you love; in fact, this could be someone you have reason to dislike even though others seem to love him or her. Or it could be a person whom other people avoid, but you have found lovable characteristics in. First describe how others see this person, and then contrast that with how you see this person because have seen him or her in a different way. Be sure to give specific examples of qualities, behaviors, incidents, etc., that support your view of this person. What have you learned from this relationship that you can apply to your life now?
3 Sometimes we lose touch with a person who has been very important to us at a certain time in our lives. Relationships change because of physical distance, misunderstandings that are never cleared up, or new relationships that come between us. Think of a person you have cared deeply about who is no longer in your life. Describe your relationship with that person, using specific examples so the reader can relate to your feelings. What influence did this person have on your life? Explain when, how, and why you lost touch with this person. How has the loss of this relationship affected you? Have you tried to re-establish this relationship? Have your feelings toward this person changed over time?
