Purpose
In this paper, you will consider a past learning experience, and examine how it related to your job performance and to broader organizational goals. If you have not had an organizational training experience, you can examine a case from the textbook, as indicated below.
Complete only one of the two options below.
How to Proceed
Option 1: Consider a past learning experience:
1. Reflect upon a previous workplace or organizational teaming experience, such as customer service training, safety training, computer software training supervisory skills, or leadership development.
2. Write a paper of 500-750 words (2-3 double spaced pages), and address the following:
a. Briefly describe the training and its purpose.
b. Explain how this training fulfilled a broader organizational goal(s).
c. Describe the formal and/or informal characteristics of the training.
d. Write a SMART goal that would be suitable for the training.
3. Format your paper as described below, and submit to the Assignment: Training, Development, and the learning Organization Paper dropbox.
