Question: The aspects of Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927). For this first created assignment, write a "response paper" based on the film. Make sure to including an introduction where you briefly introduce the film, the main characters and events, and summarize the film's impact on you (i.e. what effect did it have? Does it say anything about past/present-day/future society? Did it cause you think about something in a different way? Etc.)

This should be followed by several paragraphs where you support your response regarding the film's impact with "specific" instances from the film. You can focus on one or more scenes, a particular character, the arc of the narrative, scene composition etc.You should not making a strictly autobiographical essay (i.e. the film reminded me of the time when I ...) but concentrate on analysis of the scene/character etc. to argue a point. Also should not write a review of the film. In the conclusion to for paper should briefly summarize the above the overarching themes/questions the film raises.
