Assignment: Essay: For this assignment, you are required to put into practice some of the skills you have started to develop throughout your first couple of weeks of Undergraduate study. Annotated Bibliographies are a great way to practice your literature searching, analysis, paraphrasing and referencing skillsets which are all paramount to successful Undergraduate study. The details of the assignment can be found below:
Assignment brief: The word count for this assessment is 2000 words. This excludes the end reference list but includes everything else.
The theme of the assignment is on the topic of motivation in the context of healthcare.
Using the skills which you studied in Unit 2, you will search for 4 different types of literature on the topic of motivating healthcare professionals: (i) a journal article, (ii) a book chapter, (iii) a report and (iv) a webpage. The title and author for each source are provided below. You should look for these sources through multiple search strategies. For each reference you will need to:
Write the full reference using the Harvard standard format.
Write a short in-text citation of the reference
Write a critic of the reliability of the source using the CRAAP test
Write a short summary of the literature including what you consider to be the strengths and weaknesses of the arguments presented.
Assignment Guidance: Your paper will have the following format:
Introduction - where you set the scene and tell the reader what the assignment is about.
Journal article (approximately 300-400 words)

• Critic of the source's strengths and limitations using the CRAAP test
• A short summary of the literature including a brief statement of its strengths and limitations.
Book chapter (approximately 300-400 words)
• Full reference following Harvard standard

• Critic of the source's strengths and limitations using the CRAAP test
• A short summary of the literature including a brief statement of its strengths and limitations.
Report (approximately 300-400 words)
• Full reference following Harvard standard
• In-text citation following Harvard standard
• Critic of the source's strengths and limitations using the CRAAP test
• A short summary of the literature including a brief statement of its strengths and limitations.
Webpage (approximately 300-400 words)
• Full reference following Harvard standard
• In-text citation following Harvard standard
• Critic of the source's strengths and limitations using the CRAAP test
• A short summary of the literature including a brief statement of its strengths and limitations.
Conclusion - where you sum up the key findings of your annotated bibliography

Note the word count for each source is indicative and you must not go over the total word count of 2000 words (which excludes end references)
