1. The text covers the views of children throughout history. Briefly describe how our views of children have evolved from the middle ages to today. Do we view children as a separate and unique group from adults today? Use examples from our lives that support your perspective. How have the views from the past influenced the different ways you can parent your children today?
2. There are many different perspectives (theories) that can be used to investigate child development.
