Shapes are controlled by two genes. The shape can be disc, spherical or long. In P1 cross of disc-shaped crossing with long-shaped (both are true-breeding plants), all F1 is disc. Then the F1xF1 cross gives offspring with all three different shapes.
What is the ratio of shapes? Please explain
1. Include a brief background of the particular neo-Mendelian phenomenon.
