Whole-interval recording is the data-collecting approach that would be the most suited to use in order to measure the behaviors that are being targeted. This method demands the observer to keep a close eye on the behavior that is being targeted during the allotted amount of time and to keep a record of whether or not the behavior was observed during each of the intervals. Because it takes into account both the temporal extent and the temporal locus of the behavior being measured, this method is suitable for carrying out the task at hand. The observer is able to get a clear image of the frequency and timing of the behavior as it occurs inside a particular interval because of this. In addition to this, the method is re-usable because the observer can gather the same data more than once in order to determine how frequently the behavior occurs over the course of time.
